Yelawolf Drops Off New Album, ‘Ghetto Cowboy’
Released through his own label, Slumerican Records.
It’s been a fruitful year for Yelawolf. After just releasing Trunk Muzik 3, his final Shady Records album, only a few months ago, the Alabama artist comes through today with his new project, Ghetto Cowboy.
Released through his own label, Slumerican Records, the new Yelawolf LP comes in at 14-tracks, spanning 50-minutes, and features a more melodic side of him than fans might be accustomed with. However, he still reserves pockets — like “Box Chevy 7” — to pay homage to his hip-hop roots.
