Griselda Gang Lets New Single Loose, “Chef Dreds”
What Would Chinegun Do is coming to a streaming service near you soon.
People say that the Golden Age of hip-hop is a dying breed. Those people clearly haven’t met the Griseld Gang, the trio comprised of Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine, and Benny The Butcher. All three astute lyricists in their own right, with an undeniable classic New York grit, they’ve enjoyed prosperous solo careers. But they haven’t released a collaborative album — yet.
Today, the Shady Records group has come through with their new ensemble single, “Chef Dreds,” which will be featured on their debut group album, What Would Chinegun Do. Unsurprisingly, the new Griselda joint is doused in ominous vibes, accented by dynamic production, and brought to fruition by the brilliant minds of the three artists.
“Chef Dreds” follows previously-released What Would Chinegun Do single, “Dr. Birds.”
