Fighting Against System Racism, Multiple Artists Deliver Protest Songs

Including Meek Mill, Run The Jewels, Conway, Jim Jones, and more.

The Black community is hurting right now. After another brutal display of police brutality, and the systemic racism that enables it, with the murder of George Floyd, people of color are angry, frustrated, and desperate to be heard, to be recognized as equals. As a result, multiple artists have delayed their planned June 5th releases to redirect attention to these pressing societal and civil rights issues. Others have taken an antithetical approach by channeling this rage into impactful protest songs.

Over the past several days, artists have used their platforms to give voice to the neglected faces of this country. From Conway to Meek Mill, from Run The Jewels to Tee Grizzley, multiple rappers are refusing to be silenced; on the contrary, they’re fighting for what is right.
