Recently, New York rhymers Styles P and Dave East proved that there’s still a pulse on lyrically-inclined hip-hop with their collaborative album, Beloved. An exercise in conceptual excellence, Beloved provided a bridge between two different eras of hip-hop, united by one common truth: the ability to spit bars.
Proving their lyrical command out in the wild, East and Styles took their rhyming talents to the most New York freestyle platform, Funk Flex.
