    Video: ProbCause – “Same Thing”

    Rising Chicago emcee ProCause’s flair for soulful lyrics landed him on iHipHop’s A3C Volume 5 earlier this year — which you may stream in its entirety here — and today he’s returning with the visuals to his deep cut “Same Thing.” Directed by ProbCause & Elijah Alvarado, the colorful video perfectly compliments his exciting, vivid lyricism. You’ll fine yourself getting lost in the soulful vibes of the Drew Mantia-produced track, but the thought-provoking lyrics (“Just know I understand what you going through/ You don’t have to lie to me, it’s written all over you”) are enough to snap you back into reality. Serving as the second official single from The Kenner Loop, which will drop December 4th, “Nothing to Something” finds Roddy sharing the story of how he came from humble beginnings to his now paramount status as one of New Orleans most respected MCs. Shot by the talented DMF Films, the video exemplifies the essence of the Blair Norf produced track and even features a cameo by fellow Nola rapper Trademark Da Skydiver.
