Eric B. Makes ‘Blue Bloods’ Premiere

The iconic artist furthers his acting career.

Eric B., one-half of the famed Golden Age Eric B. & Rakim duo, is intent on continuing his entertainment career, but it seems like he’s shifted focus from music. After securing a guest role on ABC’s The Goldbergs as a club manager, the iconic artist has received another gig on CBS’s Blue Bloods.

A beloved police procedural show, Eric portrays Detective Mike Gee, and made his debut this past Friday, October 18th. Playing alongside Donnie Whalberg, who is the main character, Danny Reagan, Eric’s new co-star is excited to have him on the show. In a tweet, Whalberg said, “Me and this guy  — The one and only @ERICB — together tonight on #BlueBloods!”
