The lyrical mastermind delivers his fifth solo studio album.

It’s been five-years since famed Wu-Tang member, U-God, released a solo studio album (The Keynote Speaker). Today, that drought ends with his brand new album, Venom, from Babygrande Records.

Coming in at 14-songs, 41-minutes, Venom is mostly a solo U-God effort, save for the feature-heavy “Epicenter” with Inspectah Deck, Raekwon, and Jackpot Scotty Wotty as well as the Method Man-assisted “XXX”. Production is handled primarily by Lord Finesse, Large Professor, and DJ Green Lantern.

With U-God’s recent press runs on The Breakfast Club and The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, coupled with the release of his autobiography RAW: My Journey Into The Wu-Tang, and now Venom’s release, U-God has firmly been reasserted into the spotlight.
