Trae The Truth Releases Hurricane Harvey Support Video

Trae honors his damaged city.

As awful and devastating as these past two hurricanes were, some good emerged from the darkness: we witnessed humanity’s altruism through generous donations. One of the people who dug into his pockets was rapper and Houston native, Trae The Truth. In addition to making a monetary donation, he’s also paid tribute through music by releasing the music video for his track, “Trying To Figure It Out (Houston Hurricane Harvey Dedication)”.

The video opens with a news reporter commenting on the hurricane’s wreckage, surveying the storm’s aftermath. Montages of the natural disaster—coupled with shots of Trae rapping—comprise the video’s aesthetic, and shows just how brutal this Category 5 disaster was.
