Statik Selektah might be regarded for his vintage-yet-unique-sounding production, resulting in collection of classics, but the Boston-bred producer isn’t biased against the younger generation — he’s just selective with who he works with. He’s collaborated with New York ambassador Joey Badass; he’s worked with the rising Brooklyn talent, Radamiz. Recently, he continued that New York allegiance by laying the instrumental for CJ Fly and Haile Supreme on “Grew Up.”
