The “Mama Said Knock You Out” rapper is keen on paying tribute to his beloved genre and culture.

Are you sick of today’s face-tatted SoundCloud rappers with the watered-down bars? Do you miss that Golden Age hip-hop sound? Well, luckily for you, classic hip-hop ambassador and contributor, LL Cool J, has just announced a partnership with Sirius XM to launch his own hip-hop station.

Called LL Cool J’s Rock The Bells Radio, this new venture will go live tomorrow night at 10 P.M. at a Los Angeles-based roller skating event that will be invite only. Intent on perpetuating his beloved genre, LL is passionate about starting this station to bring light and pay homage to all of hip-hop’s glory.

Going against satellite hip-hop mainstays, like Hip Hop Nation and Shade 45, it’ll be interesting to see how LL’s station will fair. Be sure to tune-in live tomorrow.
