Please let this be true.

Bronx-bread hip-hop legend KRS-One has achieved his iconic status by lacing the game with some of the densest rhyme schemes and thought-provoking concepts. Known for classic songs like “Sound of da Police” and “MC’s Act Like They Don’t Know”, KRS-One, born Lawrence “Kris” Parker, has put together an impressive case for being one of hip-hop’s GOATS. In a recent announcement, it looks like he might be joined by a fellow GOAT on upcoming music.

Yesterday, August 16th, Parker posted a photo to his Twitter of him and Dr. Dre with a caption that read, “Yo, I was in the studio last night with Dre and Tuffy checking out some dope beats. New KRS-One Coming Soon! Shout out to Anderson Paak.” Other people close to the two have confirmed that they’re collaborating on new music.

Not much other detail is available surrounding this, but one can hope that a KRS-One x Dr. Dre joint venture comes to fruition.
