Juicy J Releases “Who Run It” Freestyle
The southern hip-hop king revisits one of his group’s classics.
Juicy J is one of the more impressive figures in hip-hop. Following a trend reserved for music’s margin, such as 2 Chainz and Pusha T, Juicy J has consistently reinvented himself to not only stay with the times, but to supplement his loyal fanbase with new followers. Starting out with the famed group, Three 6 Mafia, Juicy J dominated the 2000s. But after the group went their own ways, the future was a looming question mark for the southern rapper. However, where there’s a will there’s a way, and Juicy J had the will to perceptually exist in the spotlight. From hopping on Rae Sremmurd features to being on Wiz Khalifa’s label, Juicy J is a musical stalwart. Most recently, he dropped off a remix to his own classic record, “Who Run It”.
