Jeezy Drops Surprise Project, ‘Twenty/20 Pyrex Vision’

Bringing a little snow to the warming weather.

Surprise album drops certainly aren’t an industry standard, but they’ve increasingly become more popular among preeminent artists. From Beyoncé’s self-titled 2016 album to Eminem’s past two albums (Kamikaze, Music To Be Murdered By), industry vets seem to enjoy surprising their fans. Most recently to follow this trend is the Snow God himself, Jeezy, with Twenty/20 Pyrex Vision.

Released less than a year after his long-awaited TM104: The Legend of the Snowman, the new Jeezy is a succinct offering, coming in at seven-tracks. But don’t let the short tracklisting deter you from diving in — Jeezy packs a heavy punch in just 17-minutes.

Twenty/20 Pyrex Vision is a featureless effort, allowing Jeezy to flex his lyrical and trap muscle.
