We’re at the epicenter of unfortunate news. With the U.S. now leading the world in coronavirus cases, the uncertainty surrounding this novel disease can be overwhelming. However, what is now certain is that DMX is currently working on his new album.

A guest on Tory Lanez’s new Quarantine Radio show, recorded on IG live, the iconic New York rapper informed Tory that he’s in Nashville working on his new project. Chopping it up with Tory, DMX informed the Toronto standout, “I’m down here in Nashville, working on the album. Music don’t stop!”

Concrete details about this upcoming album remain murky, but the sheer fact that X confirmed that he’s in the stu cooking up is positive news unto itself.

After returning to the live music arena last year while performing at a Las Vegas nightclub after a rehab stint, he appeared in good spirits, saying, “When you fall down, get back up.”

It seems like X is comfortably standing on his own two, ready to continue providing his musical gift to the world.

Stay tuned for updates.
