Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail is Officially Platinum
After prompting the RIAA to change their certification rules, Jay-Z is now officially platinum and becomes the first recording artist to do so on the first day of his album release. Hov has already received certified platinum plaque.
As reported earlier, Jay-Z is set to debut at #1 next Wednesday as industry sources suggest it might sell 350,000 – 400,000 in its first week.
