Freeway Shares Update on Kidney Transplant
He seems to be in good spirits following his surgery.
Philadelphia’s Freeway has been dealing with kidney complications for some time. The 39-year-old rapper fortunately received a transplant yesterday in a Baltimore hospital, and it seems like he’s faring well so far.
Releasing a video informing his fans of his status, Freeway seems to be in good spirits as he discusses the success of the operation. In a subdued yet relieved tone, Freeway shares with his followers, “Thank y’all for all the prayers and all the support … Everything went well, the surgery went well, and I’m recovering. God is good; I got the new kidney. The doctor said everything’s fine. Other than that, thank y’all, man. I really felt all the prayers. It meant a lot.”
