Freddie Gibbs & Madlib Reveal Legendary Featured Artists For ‘Bandana’

Dropping some time in May.

Freddie Gibbs and Madlib have been teasing their forthcoming collaborative LP, Bandana, throughout 2019 — the successor to their well-received 2014 project, Piñata. With the inaugural single, “Flat Tummy Tea,”  dropping back in February, Freddie and Madlib have vastly updated this project’s details by the former revealing some of the guest artists.

While they’ve remained fairly tight-lipped about important Bandana details, Freddie revealed the heavy hitters that will be accompanying them on this musical journey in a recent interview with JUICE: going to lyrical battle with these two will be artists such as Pusha T, Anderson .Paak, Killer Mike, Yasiin Bey, and more.

After releasing the eponymous single — which is currently sitting at over one-million spins on Spotify — that followed “Flat Tummy Tea,” the two had been only sparingly dropping album tidbits, building fan anticipation alongside the swelling suspense. But now, the vision between these two gets a little bit more solidified with the announcement of the legends who will be on the tracklist.

According to the Baby Face Killa, Bandana will be dropping some time in May.
