Eminem Donates “Mom’s Spaghetti” To Detroit Hospitals

Everyone knows the iconic line, “His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy / There’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti.” Of course, the universally-recgonized line is from Eminem’s “Lose Yourself,” off the 8 Mile Soundtrack. “Mom’s spaghetti” has taken on a life of its own, becoming fodder for meme culture and one of Em’s more memorable moments. Now, Shady is materializing the line while helping those in need by donating “Mom’s Spaghetti” to healthcare workers.
Em announced recently that he’ll be donating the famed noodles to frontline workers at two Detroit hospitals. In total, Slim has provided 400 meals to these real-life heroes, according to The Detroit News.
Henry Ford Health System, one of the benefactors, expressed deep graittude for Eminem, Instagramming a picture of the spaghetti with the caption, “Our #HeathcareHeroes ‘lost themselves’ in the delicious Mom’s Spaghetti donated by Detroit’s very own, @eminem. Thank you for providing a special meal for our team members!”
Extraordinary times require extraordinary heroes; Eminem is doing his part to honor those risking their lives for humanity’s betterment.
