Hot! Eminem And Dr. Dre Rumored For ‘Bodied’ Soundtrack

The 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards - Show

Seems pretty fitting.

Eminem is no stranger to the silver screen. His 2002 semi-autobiographical film, 8 Mile, brought to life the descriptive, chilling lyrics of his nefarious, despondent Detroit environment. Em emoted this ruthless upbringing with poise and believability, further expanding his then-rising star. Now, Em has returned to this artistic medium.

His recently Toronto Film Festival-premiered movie, Bodied, uses rap battles to illuminate contentious race relations in America. From the brief trailer, it appears that this movie is a comedic fictitious account of Eminem’s adolescence, complete with legendary battle rappers like Loaded Lux and Disaster, as well as acting from Charlamagne The God, Rory Uphold, Jackie Long, and more. While Eminem isn’t directly in the movie himself, it’s covered in his fingerprints.

It was recently rumored that Em will be teaming-up with longtime collaborator and mentor, Dr. Dre, for the movie’s soundtrack. Seeing how the music super team is wholly embedded in Hip Hop, it’s only fitting that they collaborate for the movie’s soundtrack.
