André 3000 is Returning to The Big Screen

Multi-talented is putting it lightly.

Unfortunately, I think Hip Hop heads are growing increasingly—albeit resistantly—accustom with the fact that we won’t ever hear a solo André 3000 album. The rumors were nice; the thoughts were entertaining; the product would have been revolutionary. But as stacks gets older, his lamented music career is making away for a different creative avenue: acting.

Stacks has been making his rounds in the visual medium for some time, with parts such as Coffee Black in Will Ferrell’s Semi Pro and on ABC’s American Crime, but now he’s taking his talents from Comedy and Drama into Sci-Fi with his participation in the movie High Life.

Joining André will be joined by Robert Pattinson, Mia Goth, Juliette Binoche, Lars Eidinger, Agata Buzek, and others in the Claire Denis-directed picture centering on individuals searching for reduced prison times through participating in a precarious black hole experiment. Should be interesting.
