Common Comes Talks On Range Of Issues On The Breakfast Club

Common is a true gem.

One of the entertainment industry’s greatest hyphenates, Common’s talents know no bounds. Just one letter away from being in the uber exclusive EGOT club (he should probably start rubbing elbows with Neil Patrick Harris…), the Chicago artist is breathing rarefied air.

But his innate abilities are only part of his respected make-up: perhaps even more impressive is Common’s wide-ranging activism. Most recently, the 47-year-old entertainer revealed that he was molested as a child, saying it was important for him to come forward to help comfort and encourage others in the same situation to share their stories.

Elucidating his stance on the harrowing event, Common went on The Breakfast Club to discuss this trauma, the importance of therapy, and everything else going on in his exciting life.
