    A3C Volume 4 Track List Revealed

    After dropping 3 videos, iHipHop Distribution and the A3C Hip-Hop Festival are ready to reveal the track list for A3C Volume 4. The story broke today on HipHopDX, and the album features appearances from the likes of Sir Michael Rocks, Chris Webby, Mick Jenkins, The Underachievers, EarthGang, Robb Bank$, and more.

    Labba – The ProfileWild Interview

    Labba, who hails from Flatbush, has been in the game for more than a minute, from rocking mics alongside Busta Rhymes to Action Bronson. After seeing the game from a different angle during his time messing with Violator in a unique deal that, although he worked alongside Busta, never saw him as a member of the Flipmode Squad, Labba ventured out on his own, armed with new knowledge of the game as well as a new plan. Lately, Labba’s been recording with the legendary P.F. Cuttin, who gives his scathing, brutally honest feedback to a host of legends he records, including Masta Ace and Sean Price, for the Labba Ranks album, a nod to his reggae roots cultivated since childhood. In this exclusive interview, Labba talks about what it takes to make it as an independent artist, reminisces on recording with Busta, discusses what it takes to effectively fuse hip-hop and reggae, and much more in this exclusive interview.

    Armageddon – The ProfileWild Interview

    Fat Joe always referred to Armageddon as the most loyal member of the Terror Squad clique, a high honor at the time, but in retrospect meant there was never a sense of urgency to put out Geddy’s music. Being down with Fat Joe led to Armageddon seeing the Terror Squad truly come together and fall apart, from the addition of Big Pun to the departure of Cuban Link. Armageddon even traded disses with Big Pun, in the name of friendly competition, over Terror Squad tracks. Now far removed from his TS days, Armageddon’s content to drop a song here and there but promises no album or steady stream of music, nor does he promise a return to the good ol’ days. Instead, in this interview, we see Armageddon like we never did, talking about where he’s been, looking back on his days in Terror Squad and where everyone is today, his friendly competition with Pun, the collapse of TS, and much more.

    Anthony Cruz (aka A-Butta) of Natural Elements – The ProfileWild Interview

    Natural Elements is practically a secret society in hip-hop circles in 2014. Back in the day, though, the crew of A-Butta (now known as Anthony Cruz), L-Swift (now known as Swigga), Mr. Voodoo, and producer Charlemagne were lighting it up, whether on classic college radio freestyles or touring overseas with a young Roots crew. They were killing it so much that Tommy Boy signed them, but the rest of the story plays like Industry Rule #4080. Since then, though, A-Butta’s life has been anything but boring, from singing in a Japanese punk rock band to quietly dropping a solo album under his government name. Anthony Cruz gives a rare interview where he speaks on the early Natural Elements days, how he became a member of the crew after Ka’s departure, how they perfected the three-man weave, his adventure in Japanese punk rock, how the Natural Elements crew came back together, why he only likes to write four bars a day, and a lot more in this exclusive interview.

    Shabaam Sahdeeq – The ProfileWild Interview

    Shabaam Sahdeeq’s been quietly killing the game for almost a straight decade, and that’s not even counting the work he put in with Rawkus and Raptivism in the late ‘90s and early 2000s. Besides logging some highway miles with Sean Price and P.F. Cuttin on the Grown Man Rap Tour and hosting his own showcase, It’s Alive, in New York City, S-Dubs quietly released one of the stronger albums of the 2014 in Keepers of the Lost Art, an album that features cameos from the likes of Stimuli, Wais P, and Skyzoo along with production from Harry Fraud.
