Barack Obama’s Summer Playlist Includes Nas, J. Cole, Common, & More
We miss you so, so much, Barry O.

In polarizing political times like these, helmed by a demagogue, Barack Obama’s leadership and presence are sorely missed. Outside of his obviously superior presidential prowess, Obama managed to impart elements of relatability — through his love of basketball, being a terrific father and husband, and his music preferences. Recently, no. 44 released his summer playlist — and, no surprise, it’s engorged with standout tracks.
In a tweet posted yesterday (August 17th), Obama wrote, “Over the past few months, I’ve spent a lot of time listening to music with my family. I wanted to share some of my favorites from the summer—including songs from some of the artists at this week’s @DemConvention. Hope you enjoy it.”
