Keak Da Sneak Update
Surgery was a success, but he’s still not out of the woods.
After being shot multiple times following his Oakland show Sunday night, Keak Da Sneak is reportedly still in critical condition. Keak was transported to a local Bay Area hospital trauma center after the shooting, which left multiple bullet wounds in his face and chest.
Keak’s longtime friend and collaborator, Mistah Fab, updated the community on the 39-year-old rapper’s condition through an IG video. He begins his message with uplifting news that Keak successfully made it through surgery, but still is not out of the woods yet. After saying that thoughts and prayers are with his friend, Fab indicted those who only pay attention when a man’s life is on the line—not during his normal trials and tribulations. Fab’s statement isn’t just to protect his dear friend, it’s a plea for people to love each other and show the proper respect—not just when death knocks at someone’s door.
