Your Old Droog Drops Surprise Album, ‘It Wasn’t Even Close’
His first project since 2017.
In a surprise fashion, Brooklyn’s Your Old Droog delighted fans by releasing his new album, It Wasn’t Even Close.
The third studio album for the 30-year-old rapper, It Wasn’t Even Close is a 13-track, 40-minute, effort that features MF DOOM, Wiki, Roc Marciano, and more. While it was a surprise, Droog gave insight into the album’s impending release with promotional single “RST” ft. Doom and Mach-Hommy.
After a busy 2017 for Droog, one that featured three total project releases, the “Grandma Hips” artist stayed relatively quiet during 2018, planning for his 2019 return.
