Xzibit Recruits Problem On New Track, “Elevator”

While Xzibit’s more recent entertainment ventures gravitate towards TV and film, that doesn’t mean that the California MC isn’t still a musical force to be reckoned with. Today, the former Pimp My Ride host delivers his new track, “Elevator” featuring Cali rapper, Problem.
Produced by Koncept, “Elevator” is a fun, dynamic track that retains a dualistic quality by offsetting Problem’s smooth styling with Xzibit’s staple gruff presence. Despite having stepped away from the game for a little while, Xzibit hasn’t lost a step lyrically, and comes out firing on “Elevator.”
There’s speculation that this new song might serve as the lead single to Xzibit’s forthcoming album, King Maker, whose release date is still unknown.
