Will Smith is Back in The Studio

The Fresh Prince revival is among us.

While he’s more of a Hollywood household name as of late, Will Smith aka The Fresh Prince began his successful entertainment career as a goofy, spirited rapper. Alongside Prince was his trusted DJ, DJ Jazzy Jeff, who supplied the funky music that architected Smith’s sound. After toying with the idea of creating new music back in December, it seems like that’s actually coming to fruition.

In a three-minute YouTube clip, Smith can be seen playing around with bars and flows, getting progressively more comfortable with his lyrics and finding the pocket–similar to a basketball player getting their shot back. It’s a little awkward and uncomfortable, but Smith continues to lather himself into a rhythm over the video’s duration.
