Wale Pays Homage To Women On “BGM”
In honor of Women’s Equality Day.
In celebration of Women’s Equality Day, Wale came through yesterday, August 26th, to commemorate the occasion with his new single, “BGM.”
An acronym for “Black Girl Magic,” Wale take his loosie as a chance to pay homage to the influential women in his life — those who’ve helped turn him into the man he is today. It’s a touching tribute, casting a humble light on Wale.
In a genre that can be classified as chauvinistic, it’s refreshing to hear an important player like Wale take time to honor women and their contributions to him and society at large.
