New York’s Vado personifies hustle and grit. Spending years trying to boost his cachet through a collection of entertainment means, Vado began catching attention from the likes of Cam’ron in the late 2000s. Since then, he’s gone on to release a plethora of projects and singles with marquee artists, including Jeremih and Rick Ross. Recently, he returned with the help of Jim Jone and Dave East on his single and video, “Checkmate.”
