New Kanye! Happy New Year! For “Only One,” Kanye’s first new song since Yeezus, he delivers a sweet serenade for his baby daughter, North “Nori” West. The track also features Paul McCartney, which is said to be one of many collaborations between the two music icons. Grab a tissue… or a box of ’em and listen to “Only One” after the jump.
After roughly a year of teasing, Chief Keef finally shares the long-gestating collaboration with Kanye West. “Nobody” arrives in time for the release of Keef’s forthcoming Nobody release, which is due out today (Dec. 16th.) “Nobody” marks the second time Chief Keef and Kanye West have collaborated, the first being on the Yeezus cut “Hold My Liquor.” Listen to “Nobody” after the jump.
Pusha season approaching! After dropping his stellar debut full length My Name Is My Name, Virginia’s number one dope boy spitter Pusha Ton begins rolling out his King Push campaign. And today we are grateful to receive “Lunch Money”, a bombastic and downright straight outta left-field (even more so than last year’s insane “Numbers on the Board”? Maybe) cut produced by the always unpredictable Kanye West. While Pusha does his thing, spitting hot fire it’s truly Yeezus’ production that stands out as the reason you’ll be listening to this one. ‘Ye’s beat here is equipped with unorthodox, disorienting sounds, but all those outrageous nuances are built around a very funky pulse. Listen after the jump.
After his video leaked, Kanye West has one more reason to be mad as J. Cole sold more than him this week (58k for Cole, 39k for Kanye). Born Sinner took the #1 sport this week and now totals 439k sales, passing Yeezus (431k).
Kanye drops the first video from his Yeezus album. As expected, it’s something different…
