T-Pain Announces ‘T-Wayne 2’ Is Dropping “No Question”
Please let this be true.
In May 2017, T-Pain and Lil Wayne dropped their long-fabled collaborative project, T-Wayne. Originally recorded in 2009, T-Wayne was delayed due to legal trouble for Lil Wayne, but luckily was released to general acclaim–Pitchfork awarded the album a 6.1/10. After finally making good on this highly-anticipated dual effort, the only thing left to question was whether or not they’d continue this partnership.
Well, it seems like T-Pain and Weezy have every intention on continuing their run: T-Pain recently spoke with Ebro Darden on his Beats 1 Radio program to give the Hot97 host the scoop on what’s to come.
“We’re definitely about to do a T-Wayne 2 no question … I got a ton of hooks lined up already that I’m about to send Wayne and that’s just how we do it.”
Earlier this week, T-Pain dropped his new mixtape, 1UP, featuring Flipp Dinero, Tory Lanez, Boosie Badazz, and more.
Until this sequel hits streaming services, watch T-Pain and Ebro chop it up by hitting play on the interview below:
