Snoop Dogg Pays Lakers & Kobe Braynt Homage With New Ink

This past Sunday, the Lakers hoisted their 17th Larry O’Brien trophy, capping off a historic NBA season. LeBron made a promise when he arrived in Los Angeles last summer: to bring the purple and gold back to prominence. The King delivered. With such a storied franchise in the epicenter of entertainment, a decorated fanbase just comes with the territory. Few were as excited about this championship than Snoop Dogg.
Shortly after clinching the title, Snoop revealed a commemorative tattoo, paying homage to the late Kobe Bryant and the surging Lakers franchise. Located on his forearm, the new ink depicts the O’Brien trophy with “KB” written underneath and “Lakers” penned across the basketball, which is kissing the skies of heaven.
As a diehard Lakers patron, and a close friend of the dearly-departed Kobe Bean, it’s obvious that this 17th ring will forever hold a special place in the Lakers faithful — and now is enshrined in perpetuity on Snoop’s forearm.
