Skyzoo & Dumbo Station Release “Good Enough Reasons” Off Upcoming Collab EP, ‘The Bluest Note’

The Bluest Note drops on April 24th.

Brooklyn rapper Skyzoo began achieving notoriety in the early 2000s, becoming a fixture in New York’s underground music scene. This early material eventually earned him co-signs and collaborations with Empire State legends, including Jadakiss, Lloyd Banks, and Talib Kweli; he released a collaborative album, Retropolitan, with Pete Rock last year. Now, he’s readying his next move by teaming up with Italian jazz band Dumbo Station for the upcoming EP, The Bluest Note. Today, they’ve come through with the debut single, “Good Enough Reasons.”

With nearly two-decades in the game, Skyzoo isn’t taking his foot off the gas. He’s managed to maintain this longevity — an ever elusive feat in hip-hop — by never getting complacent, always challenging the status quo. Linking with an Italian jazz band is just further evidence of his aversion of the norm.

The Bluest Note will be available on April 24th.
