Run The Jewels Promote ‘RTJ4’ With New Weed Line & “JU$T” Video

Lovely day to be an RTJ fan.

Fresh off one of the year’s most prized albums, RTJ4, Run The Jewels certainly have not rested on their laurels. Showcasing their shrewd marketing capabilities while simultaneously supplementing their revenue streams, El-P and Killer Mike have recently announced their voyage into the cannabis business.

Paying homage to their RTJ4 single “Ooh LA LA” featuring Greg Nice and DJ Premier, their inaugural strain will bear the same name, and will be produced with COOKIES’ sister brand, LEMONNADE.

Tying the strain back into promoting RTJ4, the budding business was announced alongside Run The Jewels’ video for the Pharrell- and Zack de la Rocha-assisted “JU$T” — which is an incredibly creative lyric video that pays homage to Public Enemy’s “Shut ‘Em Down” video.
