In addition to the GOOD Music release strategy, answers rumors, and more.

This past summer received blockbuster entertainment in the succulent beef that Pusha T and Drake were embroiled in. Producing three impressive diss tracks in total–“Infrared”, “Duppy Freestyle”, and the finisher, “The Story of Adidon”–the feud anointed Push victorious; truly, he is King Push.

After providing deeper context behind the birth of his unknown son on Scorpion, everyone thought that the quarrel had resolved, and that it was put to bed. And then Drake was a guest on LeBron’s The Shop.

Talking with Mav Carter and Bron, Drake divulged details behind the beef that firstly didn’t paint Kanye in the best light, but also, and probably more importantly, showed a disconnect between Drake and the history of rap beefs. There was no doubt that he should’ve been offended by Push’s cold-hearted bars about his dear friend and producer, 40, who suffers from MS; but to say someone went too far is almost ignorant–there is no “too far” in this game. Tupac once came after the now late Prodigy for his sickle-cell anemia.

This past Friday, October 19th, Push joined Joe Budden for an informative episode of his podcast to directly respond to the contents of Drake’s The Shop discourse. Addressing the rumor that Drake solicited $100k for information on Push, the Daytona rapper went on to adamantly double-down on his sentiment that there is no legitimate price tag for dirt on him because there’s no dirt to be discovered.

Push goes on to discuss the formation of Daytona, his relationship with Kanye, the compromised release of Teyana Taylor’s K.T.S.E., as well as talking about the new music that he’s working on.
