Pete Rock and Ali Shaheed Muhammed to Play Moogfest

A couple of hip-hop legends for a legendary hip-hop festival.

Hip-hop heads rejoice: Pete Rock and Ali Shaheed Muhammed will be gracing Moogfest this year on May 19th.

Moogfest is a North Carolina-based festival paying homage to the impact of Robert Moog,who invented the Moog Synthesizer–a staple in hip hop production. Celebrating these musical advances, Pete and Ali Shaheed will be performing live DJ sets for the fans. The best part of all of this? The festival is completely free and welcome to all ages.

All three will be performing at the @ATCDurham Amphitheatre on Saturday following the Modular on the Spot Picnic as a part of this year’s free programming.
