Nas Announces New Album

Looks like Nasir was only the beginning.

Although we just received the first Nas album in six-years in June, as part of the five album G.O.O.D. Music rollout, the iconic rapper says that he’s already thinking about the future. In fact, he’s already halfway done with his next album.

Following his 12th solo album, the Kanye-produced Nasir, Nas will be releasing another album soon. Speaking with Angie Martinez in front of a live studio audience, the Illmatic artist informed her that Nasir was only the beginning: “[There is] another album that I already had been working on before [NASIR]…Since I did this, I gotta do something that, you know, goes in another direction a little bit,…So I’m finishing up the next one.”

Hopefully, there is another Nas album on the horizon.
