Just a week and a half ago, Mick Jenkins dropped his latest project titled, “Elephant In The Room.” It’s a 12-track project that sees Jenkins at his very best — hitting beautiful melodies and unorthodox flows throughout. It’s another piece of work that adds even more depth to his catalog, which is already rich with chill hip-hop jams and genre-bending tracks. Jenkins doesn’t shy away from experimentation; rather he leans into it. He always seems a new form of expression whether it’s through the eclectic production behind his infectious voice or the inflections on his voice as he moves through sections of his tracks.
