Master P Buys Wrestling League, House Of Glory Wrestling
The mogul keeps making moves.
Master P is undoubtedly one of hip-hop’s most successful moguls. From founding No Limit Records to his career in film and savvy business investments, P knows how to make a dollar. Now that he’s conquered integral entertainment pillars, it’s time for his next venture: professional wrestling. Master P is now the owner of House Of Glory Wrestling (HOG).
This isn’t his first professional wrestling stint, though; two decades ago, Master P had a deal with the now-defunct World Championship Wrestling league. With wrestling’s continued cornering of mainstream media and infiltration of pop-culture, thanks to songs like “Ric Flair Drip” by Offset, 21 Savage, and Metro Boomin, the HOG investment could prove highly lucrative for the astute businessman.
In an effort to keep legitimizing hip-hop’s brand power in the public eye, Master P addressed the HOG acquisition by saying, “We are making history by bringing Hip Hop to wrestling … We don’t own the NFL, NBA, or MLB but we do own House of Glory aka ‘HOG’.”
