Marlon Craft Delivers Scathing “5 Fingers Of Death” Freestyle
The NY MC shows out on Sway In The Morning.
New York has produced some of the game’s most iconic wordsmiths: KRS One, JAY Z, Biggie — the list goes on and on. But everyone knows the Mount Rushmore MCs, not everyone is familiar with the burgeoning talents who embody The Empire State’s fiery ethos.
One of those artists on the rise, Marlon Craft, has been honing his craft for some time, releasing metaphorical and double-entendre-ladened freestyle videos and projects over the years, just biding his time until his moment officially arrives. Recently, he took a purposeful step in the direction by appearing on Sway In The Morning’s “5 Fingers Of Death,” where he deftly navigated multiple instrumentals to deliver yet another sound, cohesive freestyle.
Marlon Craft might be a kid in his 20s, but his style and approach are reminiscent of hip-hop’s Golden Age. On the recent Sway freestyle, he proves why he deserves more attention, and demonstrates his superior lyricism.
