In addition to the exciting news of his role reprisal as Jamal in How High 2, Redman has also returned musically with his new track, “Tear It Up”.

A gritty, raw offering that encapsulates a nostalgic sound, “Tear It Up” is a single off of Red’s forthcoming album, Muddy Waters Too–the direct successor to his 1996 album. Featuring production from Theory Hazit, “Tear It Up” is an energetic anthem that recruits vintage Redman lyricism that we’ve grown so accustomed to.
