Announced earlier this week, Kid Cudi and Eminem have made good on their surprising collaboration, “The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady.”
Both Cudder and Slim are some of hip-hop’s most-respected MCs, with Shady circling GOAT waters, but on the surface, they appear more separate but equal than direct competitors. With Cudi known for his heightened musical sense and dreamy hums, and Eminem revered for his superior lyricism and being one of the greatest selling artists of all time, they aren’t really classified together.
However, they mutually harbor a distinct ability to draw on dark emotions and negative circumstances to create resonating art. With “The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady,” they do just that.
