Kanye Solicits Collaboration Request to Bob Dylan

Please let this come to fruition.

Part of Kanye’s brilliance is his ability to collaborate with unsuspecting sources for hip-hop excellence. His sampling abilities are well-documented and revered, known for injecting a soulfulness into his productions from gospel music to famous speeches, and he’s an absorptive musical purveyor–having cited acts like Bon Iver as an influence and collaborated with external acts like Paul McCartney on the Rihanna-assisted “FourFive Seconds”.

Well, it seems like another iconic rock figure – Kanye collaboration might be in the works, as Kanye solicited an exciting offer to one of music’s biggest icons, Bob Dylan.

Taking to his twitter yesterday, December 12th, Kanye tersely tweeted, “Calling out to Bob Dylan. Let’s get together”. While nothing has been confirmed passed this tweet, the sheer idea of this collaboration is an exciting notion that would presumably yield a fruitful product.
