JAY-Z & Meek Mill Donate 100,000 Masks To Jails & Prisons

Through the REFORM Alliance.

JAY-Z and Meek Mill are renowned artists, of course, but their impact is far more expansive than what they lay down behind the booth. Both charitable figures, the two have joined forces to do their part in fighting the coronavirus.

Through their REFORM Alliance charity, Hov and Meek are donating 100,000 surgical masks to prison personnel throughout the country; inmates, health care works, and correctional officers in need will receive the protective equipment from the two magnates.

The official REFORM Instagram account posted the following message:

“Thank you to @meekmill, @shakasenghor, & everyone who helped us get 100k masks into prisons 🙌🏾 These masks will help protect incarcerated people & correctional staff in #Rikers, the Tennessee DOC, and #ParchmanPrison from #COVID19.

This is a team effort. If you can help us get more personal protective equipment into prisons, comment below or DM us. You can also take action by clicking the link in our bio ⬆️ Let’s save lives today #noprisonpandemic

In these trying times, even the smallest actions can impart consequential change.

Meek and Hov are doing their part. Will you follow suit?
