Jadakiss & Others Unite to Help Puerto Rico
The generosity continues.
Some don’t even know that it’s a US territory, engorged with US citizens. Some just view it as a vacation spot, or as a place beaming with culture. But for those deeply affected by the devastation, they’re doing whatever they can to help.
Puerto Rico has been without power since Hurricane Maria pillaged the country. Its citizens are crying for help in any capacity. Once again, Hip Hop players are using their powerful platforms to aid those in need.
On September 30th, Jadakiss, Bodega Bamz, Remy Ma, Papoose, Rapsody, Casanova, and Mack Wilds all volunteered their services to help the fledgling country. The artists took to New York’s Javits Center to box items of necessity, such as rice, diapers, canned foods, and water, that will be shipped to Puerto Rico.
While Puerto Rico’s fate is still in question, it’s encouraging to see these artists use their powers for good, and help those in need. Our prayers go out to all of those currently suffering, directly and indirectly, from this travesty.
