Freddie Gibbs and Alchemist’s Alfredo album, released on May 29th, is firmly a contender for album of the year. With Alchemist’s smooth, jazzy beats paired with Gibbs’ soprano-esque flow and rewind-worthy bars, it’s a hip-hop purist’s dream. One of the standout tracks is the Rick Ross-assisted “Scottie Beam,” which recently received an official music video.
