DMX Finally Freed From Prison

The road for Earl Simmons, AKA DMX, lately hasn’t been the easiest path, but life is finally looking up for the Grammy-nominated artist. DMX has finally been freed from prison.

Detained for a year for a tax evasion case, DMX is now a liberated man and can resume what he was put on this earth to do: make incredible music. A collaborative album with longtime friend and producer, Swizz Beatz, has been rumored for sometime, and fans are clamoring for its release. Patron and artist Ski Mask The Slump God recently tweeted that he would relish the opportunity to work on a track with the influential Simmons.

DMX’s impact on hip-hop is unquestionable. His late ‘90s run was one of the most impressive we’ve seen, and hopefully this recent prison liberation will see Simmons continuing his craft that has touched so many.
