Consequence Releases Single, “No Place Like Home,” With Posthumous Phife Dawg Verse
Happy birthday to the late legend, Phife.
It’s a heavy day for the hip-hop community, as it would have marked Phife Dawg’s 49th birthday. The legendary A Tribe Called Quest MC passed away in March 2016, and while he prematurely vacated this planet, his mark left is indelible. Honoring his life and talent, Consequence came through yesterday with a posthumous collab, “No Place Like Home.”
Phife Dawg will forever be remembered for his iconic musical contributions, positive disposition, and storied career. His verse on “No Place Like Home” is just further evidence of the impact he’s been able to make — both in flesh and from beyond.
