Cassidy Drops Off New Single, “Stop”
The Philly artist returns.
Cassidy has been an instrumental molding force in Philly hip-hop since erupting on the scene in the late ‘90s – early ‘00s. The 37-year-old artist began gaining attention for freestyling and battle raps, forming his musical identity through grassroots means. Eventually, the local battles became buzzing singles, eventually resulting in his debut LP, the 2004 Split Personality.
Since then, Cassidy has remained a consistent and reliable purveyor of lyrically-inclined raps. The “I’m A Hustla” rapper has earned his hip-hop residency. Recently, he continued to stretch his impressive career by releasing his new single, “Stop.”
