The latest EP from the Brooklyn rapper.

One listen to Casanova, and you won’t question where he’s from–the 32-year-old rapper is as New York as the Knicks and the Statue of Liberty. Employing a raw vocal aggression reminiscent of the ‘90s group Onyx, Brooklyn’s Casanova inhales his concrete jungle surroundings and perpetually exhales authentic Empire State vibes. Amassing respect and fans with his 2018 release, COMMISSARY, including an eclectic presence of featured artists, like Fabolous and Rich The Kid, Casanova is back with a fresh perspective on his latest release, Free At Last.

Executively produced by 30Roc, Casanova’s latest EP is a six-track offering that features Tory Lanez and Davido on the project’s single, “2 AM”. Throughout the remaining five songs, Casanova fuses his staple New York vocal identity with 30Roc’s dynamic soundscape–one that features a heavy dose soulful and trap sonics, all of which revolve around a boisterous core. This varied sonic pallet allows Casanova to demonstrate his command of differing productions while reinforcing his self-possession, as he never compromises his artistic integrity.

Released through Roc Nation Records, Free At Last marks the “Set Trippin” rapper’s second release through the Jay Z-helmed label.
